The functions, duties and powers of the Central Committee shall be as follows:-

(a) To identify the areas of contribution to be made from the funds,
(b) Formulate the necessary policy regarding the contribution made from the funds,
(c) To approve the annual budget, plan and program of the fund,
(d) operating or causing employee contribution programs,
(e) To give necessary instructions to the District Committee,
(f) Disbursing funds from the fund to the District Committee as per requirement,
(g) To keep up to date the accounts of the Fund,
(h) To do other necessary work related to the fund.
